Dry Needling

Myotherapy is the physical diagnosis, treatment and management of myofascial pain and other soft tissue conditions,

Treatment may be corrective, rehabilitative, or preventative taking the form of a number of physical techniques.

Myofascial Trigger Points (MTP), or knots, are the basis of Myotherapy. MTP are not only capable of causing local pain, but they commonly refer pain to distant areas and as a result, are often overlooked.

We offer Specialised Studio Pilates

What is Studio Pilates?

We have a dedicated Pilates Studio here at Body@Boronia with our highly qualified and experience Pilates Instructors,  Kathryn Burke and Cathy Hare.

You may have heard of Mat Pilates, where you work through a series of exercises on the floor, perhaps with small apparatus.

Studio Pilates is different.  At our studio, we use specialized equipment (the Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair, and Spine Corrector). We can adjust the settings and tension of the springs on the equipment to change the intensity of your workout, and focus specifically on different parts of your body.

The studio equipment adds challenge and variety to your workout, and there are literally hundreds of exercises for strength, coordination and flexibility that we go through with you.

All exercises are specific to you.  Depending on weather you are a new beginner or a pilates expert, we will cater to your abilities.

But what makes Body@Boronia so special is that our instructors are fully trained and very technical in helping those with injuries and correcting weaknesses that affect your movement.  They also work very closely with our Professional Practitioners (our Osteopaths and Myotherapists)

In Studio sessions, you are fully supervised at all times by our qualified instructors, and class sizes are limited to a maximum of 3  people per hour (in a group class). You can also opt for a Private Session if you want completely one-on-one attention.

“In 10 sessions you will feel a difference. In 20 sessions you will see a difference. In 30 sessions, you will have a new body.”
